La Quinta High School is located in the northern region of La Quinta and serves students in grades nine through twelve following a traditional calendar.
La Quinta High School fully embraces the privilege of being an International Baccalaureate (IB) School. At every level, the expectation is all students will be prepared to succeed in the most rigorous courses and beyond. To complement the outstanding work of the dedicated staff and IB students, LQHS offers IB courses, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, Honors courses, five CTE programs;Public Service Academy, Medical Health Academy, Culinary Arts Academy, and Information & Communications Technology Academy, Air Force JROTC, as well as AVID. We believe all students can learn!
As such, we offer the necessary support needed for them to be successful. We aim to provide the best learning environment for our students. This is accomplished through a supportive board of education, talented staff members, a supportive community, and most importantly, great students!
